When Risqué heard that the California Supreme Court validated thousands of loving, caring, supportive same-sex relationships through the legalization of marriage, he was compelled to pop a cork and raise a toast with his own beloved with one of his delicious favoris, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Yellow Label (No La Grand Dame on hand!). “Here is to all the same-sex couples that truly deserve the right to marry! Félicitations!”

This handsome non-vintage groom wears a candlelight tinged appearance with a wonderfully formal yet friendly presence. It’s effervescence is deliciously crisp and rich with an almandine sweetened nose of ripe Bartlett pear, crisp juicy apple, buttered croissant and sweet lemon curd. The palate is lush with a fine mouse and tiny bubbles freshened with more light pear and apple with toasted cashews in the finish…
