		<description>Mammamia, Pinot Grigio from Argentina???!

One of the best italian Pinot Grigio comes from St. Michael-Eppan at Alto Adige. They have a brand called "Sanct Valentin" which contains outstanding Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon-Blanc and Gewürztraminer. Here is the website:

<description>Dear Risqué - There's little more we admire at CAKE Newsletter than a well-turned phrase. Such as: "Now before you go getting all up in Risqué’s petticoats." Or, "Delivering bursts of warm crusts of fresh baked bread." Great writing! Fun writing!

36 raw oysters &#38; a bottle of French champagne? Dear God! Did you think you'd died &#38; gone to heaven?

We don't know about you, but raw oysters tend to get the CAKE staff "frisky!"

As always, our appreciation.

		<description>Here in detail:

2001 Müller-Catoir, “Haardter Bürgergarten” Spätlese trocken, Pfalz, Germany

A masterpiece! The last Riesling # 24 under the leadership of Hans Günter Schwarz. Mind-boggling bouquet of blossoms and minerals.
The freshness, elegance, and “Strahlkraft” of this Spätlese trocken is out of this world. Plays in the same league like the legendary 2001 Halenberg Auslese trocken from Emrich-Schönleber. Subtle flavors of tangerine, peach, blossoms, herbs and minerals. Have I already told you that he has a titanic length?! Without any doubt, a perfect Riesling and there is no hurry to drink this wine.
95pts.

2001 Müller-Catoir, “Haardter Bürgergarten” Spätlese , Pfalz, Germany

The 2001 vintage from Müller-Catoir is a legend and the last vintage made by the winemaker H.-G. Schwarz. In contrast to last week, here we have the sweet version of the 01 Spätlese with the filling #2133. Beautiful golden colour and an amazing perfume by a basket of tropical fruits combined with a spicy minerality. Surprisingly such youthful on the palate with a load of fruits like ripe peach, pineapple, lychee and this subtle spicy&#38;smoky minerality as a backbone. This fruit is such massive, almost a whole orchard “Obstgarten” is jumping out of the glass. Not sticky sweet and an impressive finish. Promising future for the coming years. Certainly the perfect match for several asian dishes and all kind of pumpkin dishes.

<description>Chapeau, good selection! Müller-Catoir is one of the TOP estates in the region Pfalz and their wines are extremly food-friendly.

I have tasted several months ago a 01 Müller-Catoir Riesling dry and off-dry which was made under the old leadership of the famous Hans-Günter Schwarz .
Mr. Schwarz is a wine-making legend in Germany.

Here are the notes:

it is the same story here in Berlin/Germany. Well-dressed, interested in food&#38;wine etc., you´re considered to be gay. I always confuse people when I show my interest&#38;knowledge in soccer. :))))

I have add your blog to my bookmarks...........I am watching you! ;-)

<description>Dear Risqué - We couldn't be more pleased to learn there are others out there drinking not only oh-so-hip wine, but "Say it proud &#38; say it loud:" M-A-R-T-I-N-I-S!

Dear God, nothing ends the day like bringing together a dram of Bombay splashed with Martini &#38; Rossi extra dry vermouth. (Yes, darling, vermouth really does enhance a martini!).

Regardless of our pedestrian martini tastes, we can't wait to try the Indian Summer. The crème de cassis, cucumber, lime juice &#38; grapefruit bitters are all eagerly anticipated flavors.

Thanks for the suggestion!
